6. OTHER SURROUND iDolby Pro Logic Surround Dolby 3CH Logic Set to this position for video and music sources (especially sources bearing the DO DOLBY SURROUND marks). Dolby Pro Logic Surround continuously detects the size and direction of signals. As a result, the position of the sound source becomes clear, enabling reproduction of natural sound flow. Same system as the Dolby Pro Logic Surround except that SURROUND speakers are not installed. SURROUND speaker signals are played back by the FRONT speakers, enabling better reproduction of surround effects and depth than with normal stereo playback. Sounds are at the fixed position. The bass from the center channel is played back by the FRONT speakers. Using the same speakers as the FRONT speakers for the CENTER speaker enables sounds from bass to treble to be played back more naturally. The center channel sounds are played back between the L and R FRONT speakers.
