Additional Information Troubleshooting Incorrect operation is often mistaken for trouble or malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong with this component, check the points below. Sometimes the trouble may lie in another component. Inspect the other components and electrical appliances being used. If the trouble cannot be rectified even after checking the points below, ask your nearest Pioneer authorized service center or your dealer to carry out repair work. • If the unit does not operate normally due to external effects such as static electricity, pressing the RESET button may restore normal operation. • General problem Problem Remedy The power does not turn on. Check that the battery has not run out of charge. Connect the AC adaptor to the unit to charge it. The battery does not charge. Check that the supplied AC adaptor and USB cable are connected correctly. Try disconnecting them once and then reconnecting them. Check that the surrounding temperature is not outside of the range in which charging is possible. The unit should be charged in an environment between 5 °C (41 °F) and 35 °C (95 °F).
