Shared Lines Topics: • Shared Line Appearance • Busy Lamp Field (BLF) All Poly Edge B Series IP phones support multiple shared lines. Your administrator can customize your phone to enable multiple shared lines. Shared Line Appearance A shared line is a service account or extension installed on a group of phones. Each call on a shared line has a shared call appearance (SCA). All phones on the shared line are notified when a phone uses that extension, and there can be multiple simultaneous calls on a shared line. If your phone has a shared line configured as one of the services, it must have as many call keys defined on the phone as are bound to that service. List of All SCA States Icon SCA State Description Available Operations LED Pattern Seized A phone with the shared line has seized the SCA to make an outgoing call. None. Fast blinking green Trying A phone with the shared line is trying to place an outgoing call. None. Medium blinking green Ringing A phone with the shared line is placing an outgoing call and the called party is ringing. None. Fast blinking green Connected A phone with the shared line is on a call with that SCA. Barge in to monitor the conversation or to participate in the conversation. Steady green Held A phone with the shared line is on a call with that SCA and placed the call on hold. Resume and take over the call.
