HOW TO USE THE CUSTOM WORKOUT CENTER 1. Insert the key into the console. See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 14. 2. Select the Custom Workout Center. To use a Custom Workout Center, press the Select Profile increase button. Select the desired profile by pressing the Select Profile increase and decrease buttons repeatedly. Then press the Enter button below the Set Max. Speed buttons. Note: If you do not press the Enter button, the display will advance to the next selection in a few seconds. Next, select your desired workout duration by pressing the Set Time increase and decrease buttons repeatedly. Then press the Enter button. Select your minimum workout speed by pressing the Set Min. Speed increase and decrease buttons repeatedly. Then press the Enter button. Next, select your maximum workout speed by pressing the Set Max. Speed increase and decrease buttons repeatedly. Then press the Enter button. Each custom workout is divided into segments. One speed setting and one incline setting are programmed for each segment. height of the flashing seg- ment indicates the speed Current Segment setting for the current segment. At the end of each segment, a series of tones will sound and the next segment of the pro- file will begin to flash. The new speed and incline settings will appear in the display for a few seconds and the treadmill will automatically adjust to the new speed and incline settings. The workout will continue in this way until the last segment of the profile flashes in the display and the last segment ends. The walking belt will then slow to a stop. If the speed or incline setting is too high or too low at any time during the workout, you can manually override the setting by pressing the Speed or Incline buttons. Note: When the next segment of the workout begins, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next segment. To stop the workout at any time, press the Stop button. To restart the workout, press the Start button or the Speed increase button. The walking belt will begin to move at 1 mph. When the next segment of the workout begins, the treadmill will automatically adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next segment. 4. Monitor your progress with the displays. 3. HOW TO USE THE CUSTOM WORKOUT CENTER
1.
Insert the key into the console.

2.
Select the Custom Workout Center.
To use a Custom Workout Center, press the Select
Profile increase button.
Select the desired profile by pressing the Select
Profile increase and decrease buttons repeatedly.
Then press the Enter button below the Set Max.
Speed buttons. Note: If you do not press the Enter

tion in a few seconds.
Next, select your desired workout duration by press-
ing the Set Time increase and decrease buttons re-
peatedly. Then press the Enter button.
Select your minimum workout speed by pressing
the Set Min. Speed increase and decrease buttons
repeatedly. Then press the Enter button.
Next, select your maximum workout speed by
pressing the Set Max. Speed increase and de-
crease buttons repeatedly. Then press the Enter
button.
Each custom workout is divided into segments.
One speed setting and one incline setting are pro-
grammed for each segment.

Start the walking belt.
Press the Start button to start the workout. A mo-
ment after you press the button, the walking belt
will begin to move. Hold the handrails and begin
walking.
During the workout, the profile will show your
progress. The flashing segment of the profile repre-
sents the current segment of the workout. The
height of the flashing seg-
ment indicates the speed
setting for the current
segment. At the end of
each segment, a series of
tones will sound and the
next segment of the pro-
file will begin to flash. The new speed and incline
settings will appear in the display for a few seconds
and the treadmill will automatically adjust to the new
speed and incline settings.
The workout will continue in this way until the last
segment of the profile flashes in the display and the
last segment ends. The walking belt will then slow
to a stop.
If the speed or incline setting is too high or too low
at any time during the workout, you can manually
override the setting by pressing the Speed or Incline
buttons.
Note: When the next segment of the
workout begins, the treadmill will automatically
adjust to the speed and incline settings for the
next segment.

button. To restart the workout, press the Start button
or the Speed increase button. The walking belt will
begin to move at 1 mph. When the next segment of
the workout begins, the treadmill will automatically
adjust to the speed and incline settings for the next
segment.

Monitor your progress with the displays.

Measure your heart rate if desired.
See step 6 on page 15.

When you are finished exercising, remove the
key from the console.
