Various Shooting Functions Scene Modes Text Mode Description Use when capturing text images, for example notes written on a whiteboard at a meeting. Images are captured in black and white. You can also change the shading of text. (GP.74) You can set the image size to either 4000 × 3000 or 2048 × 1536 pixels. (GP.105) Note For information on the shooting menu items in scene mode, see P.102. 1 Turn the mode dial to SCENE. 1 • The camera is ready to shoot and the selected scene mode is displayed at the top of the picture display. 2 Press the MENU/OK button to change the scene mode. • The scene mode selection screen appears. 3 Press the !"#$ buttons to select the desired scene mode. 4 Press the MENU/OK button. • The scene mode type is displayed at the top of the picture display. 5 Press the shutter release button to shoot the picture. 95
