SYMBOLS Some of the following symbols may be used on this product. Please study them and learn their meaning. Proper interpretation of these symbols will allow you to operate the product better and safer. SYMBOL NAME DESIGNATION/EXPLANATION Fire/Explosion Fuel and its vapors are extremely flammable and explosive. Fire or explosion can cause severe burns or death. Hot Surface To reduce the risk of injury or damage, avoid contact with any hot surface. Lifting Hazard To reduce the risk of serious injury, avoid attempting to lift the generator alone. Ground Consult with local electrician to determine grounding ­requirements before operation. Electrocution Failure to properly ground generator can result in electrocution, especially if the generator is equipped with a wheel kit. Do not operate with wet hands or feet.  Exhaust contains poisonous carbon monoxide gas that can cause unconsciousness or DEATH. Operate in well-ventilated, outdoor areas away from open windows or doors.  Failure to properly ground generator can result in electrocution, especially if the generator is equipped with a wheel kit.  Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.  Using a generator indoors WILL KILL YOU IN MINUTES. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.  NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF doors and windows are open.  Only use OUTSIDE and far away from windows, doors, and vents.
