OPERATION NOTICE: Monitor the debris canister during use and empty as needed. Operating the sweeper with a full debris canister can damage the tool. NOTICE: Do not push the unit forward, unless the motor is ON. Pushing the unit with the motor OFF could deform the rotating brushes.  When sweeping is complete, bring the unit to a halt, depress the on/off button to turn the motor OFF, and wait for the brushes to stop spinning. NOTE: When the motor is OFF, the rotating brushes will stop spinning and the LED headlights will turn off.  Remove the battery pack.  Remove and empty the debris canister as described later in this section. EMPTYING THE DEBRIS CANISTER See Figures 10 - 11, page 12.  Determine the appropriate brush height and adjust deflectors as needed.  Adjust the handle assembly to a comfortable operating position and height.  Install the battery pack.  Stand behind the sweeper with your hands on the handle grips.  Depress the on/off button with your foot to start the motor. NOTE: When the motor is ON, the rotating brushes will spin continuously and the LED headlights will automatically turn on. The left and right brushes rotate in opposite directions.  Push the unit over the surface to be cleaned. NOTE: The sweeper is only designed to operate in a forward direction. Do not pull the unit backwards. NOTE: If the sweeper becomes clogged, the motor will automatically stop and LED headlights will flash for 10 seconds. Before resuming operation, remove the battery pack and clear the obstruction. CAUTION: Some debris may contain sharp edges that may cause personal injury. Wear protective gloves if necessary.  Turn the motor OFF and remove the battery pack.  Slide the latch toward the back of the unit and, using the handle, remove the debris canister from the sweeper.  Empty and clean the debris canister. NOTE: Always dispose of debris properly. Check with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.  To replace the canister, slide and hold the latch back and place the canister back in the sweeper.  Release the latch to secure the canister in place.  Gently pull up on the canister handle to ensure the canister is secured. 8 - English

OPERATION

CAUTION:
