ELECTRICAL POSITION OF THE TILE SAW See Figure 2, page 15. To avoid the possibility of the tool plug or outlet getting wet, position tile saw to one side of a wall-mounted outlet to prevent water from dripping onto the outlet or plug. The operator should arrange a "drip loop" in the cord connecting the saw to the outlet. The "drip loop" is that part of the cord below the level of the outlet, or the connector if an extension cord is used, to prevent water traveling along the cord and coming in contact with the outlet. If the plug or outlet does get wet, DO NOT unplug the cord. Disconnect the fuse or circuit breaker that supplies power to the tool then unplug and examine for the presence of water in the outlet. CONTINUOUS RIM DIAMOND WHEEL The continuous rim diamond wheel provided with this saw is for wet cutting only. Dry cutting is possible with the use of an optional cutting wheel marked as usable for dry cutting (not included). This tile saw will accept either a 4" or a 4-3/8" (111 mm) continuous rim cutting wheel. DEPTH ADJUSTMENT Change the depth of cut from 0 to 1-5/32 in. using the depth adjustment knob. ERGONOMIC DESIGN The design provides comfort when operating in different positions and at different angles. GFCI PLUG The saw is equipped with a GFCI plug to guard against the hazards of ground fault currents. This plug does not protect against short circuits, overloads, or shocks. LOCK-ON BUTTON The lock-on button is convenient for continuous use for extended periods of time. WATER SUPPLY KIT For wet tile cutting, install the water supply kit and connect to an appropriate water supply. 8 - English

The continuous rim diamond wheel provided with this saw
