Set Phone Keypad Light The Keypad Light option allows the keypad to light Any Time, Night Time, or set to a Custom Time. If you choose Custom Time the following options are enabled (After, AM/PM, Until, AM/PM). Press the Save soft key to save your settings. Front LCD Contrast You can adjust the display brightness for the Front LCD to see it better in different lighting conditions. Press the Left or Right Navigation key or press the Up or Down Volume keys to adjust the brightness. Press the Save soft key or the key to save selection. Greeting Message This menu allows you to set a greeting to be displayed briefly when the phone is switched on. For details about entering characters, see "Entering Text" on page 33. Network Selection (SIM Dependent) The Network Selection feature enables you to automatically or manually select the network used when roaming outside of your home area. Note: You can select a network other than your home network only if there is a valid roaming agreement between the two. To indicate to automatically or manually select the network to be used when roaming: 1. From the Set Phone menu screen, select Network Selection. 2. Press the Up or Down key until the appropriate option highlights, then press the Select soft key or the key. If you select Automatic, you are connected to the first available network when roaming. If you select Manual, go to step 3. 3. Press the Up or Down key until the network you want highlights and then press the Select soft key or the key. The phone will scan for that network and you will be connected. Airplane Mode The Airplane Mode turns your handset off for incoming and outgoing calls. Changing Your Settings 62

Network Selection (SIM Dependent)
The Network Selection feature enables you to automatically or manually select the
network used when roaming outside of your home area.
Note:
You can select a network other than your home network only if there is a valid roaming agreement
between the two.
To indicate to automatically or manually select the network to be used when
roaming:
1.
From the
Set Phone
menu screen, select
Network Selection
.

Down
