Settings (Con't) Setting the DRC (Dynamic Range Compression) This feature balances the range between the loudest and quietest sounds. You can use this function to enjoy Dolby Digital sound when watching movies at low volume at night. 1 In Stop mode, press the MENU button. 2 Press the Cursor button to move to and then press the ENTER button. 3 Press the Cursor button to move to and then press the ENTER button. 4 Press the Cursor , button to adjust the DRC. Press the PL II mode button to show STEREO on the display. • This feature works with CDs, MP3-CDs, DivX and Dolby Digital discs. • When playing a DVD disc encoded with two or more channels, multi-channel mode will be selected automatically and DSP/EQ function does not work. 46 47
