Setting the Digital Image Stabilizer (DIS DIS • The DIS function works only in Camera mode. ➥page 18 • DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a function that compensates for any shaking or hand movement while holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits). • It provides more stable pictures when: - Recording with the zoom - Recording a small object close-up - Recording and walking at the same time - Recording through the window of a vehicle CARD TAPE (SC-D383/D385 only) MODE CHG BATT. 1. Set the Select switch to TAPE. (SC-D383/D385 only) 2. Press the MODE button to set Camera ( ). 3. Press the MENU button. • The menu list will appear. 4. Move the Joystick up or down to select "Camera", then press the Joystick or move the Camera Mode Camera Program AE White Balance Visual Effect 16:9 Wide Macro � Auto � Auto � Off � On � Off Joystick () to the right. DIS � Off 5. Move the Joystick up or down to select Move Select MENU Exit "DIS", then press the Joystick. 6. To activate the DIS function, move the Joystick (▲ / ▼) up or down to select "On", then press the Joystick. • If you do not want to use the DIS function, set the "DIS" menu to "Off". SETTING THE DIGITAL IMAGE STABILIZER (DIS)
The DIS function works only in
Camera
mode.

DIS (Digital Image Stabilizer) is a function that
compensates for any shaking or hand movement while
holding the camcorder (within reasonable limits).
It provides more stable pictures when:
-
Recording with the zoom
-
Recording a small object close-up
-
Recording and walking at the same time
-
Recording through the window of a vehicle

Set the
Select
switch to
TAPE
.
(SC-D383/D385 only)
2.
Press the
MODE
button to set
Camera
(
).
3.
Press the
MENU
button.
The menu list will appear.
4.
Move the
Joystick
(

up or down to select
"Camera"
, then press the
Joystick
or move the
Joystick

to the right
.
5.
Move the
Joystick

up or down to select
"DIS"
, then press the
Joystick

To activate the DIS function, move the

If you do not want to use the DIS function, set the

To exit, press the

DIS (

EASY.Q mode automatically sets the

You cannot set the following functions in the
DIS
mode.:

"Pastel1","Pastel2", "C.Nite", "Digital Zoom"
Setting the DIS function in 16:9 Wide mode may

开启手抖动补偿功能后，当您按下
PHOTO

钮时，手抖动补偿功能将自动暂时关闭，当拍
完照片后会重新返回到手抖动补偿模式。
当使用三脚架进行拍摄时，建议您取消手抖动
补偿功能。
如果使用手抖动补偿功能进行拍摄，拍摄画面
质量会有所下降。
