13- DayNight Signal and System Diagram 13- -1 Block Diagram Circuit perating escription ig. ay ight Signal and System iagram 13- -2 S 01 and CN 03 o REAR BD controls DAYNIGHT 1) SW401 - AUTO : u-COM reads the DSP data, and controls the DAYNIGHT automatically. - EXT : DAYNIGHT is selected by input signal of CN403. 2) CN403 - HIGH : DAY(COLOR) Mode - LOW : NIGHT(B/W) Mode 13- -3 Function E planation 1) u-COM(IC108) decides the status of SW401 and CN403, then ouputs the MA, MB, MSAV(IC108-41,42,43) signal which controls the stepping motor. These signal goes to IC306 of CCD BD. 2) IC306 transfer and amplify the signal which are supplied by u-COM, and controls the DC Stepping motor to change the optical filter. A T Mode 1) Locate the SW401 of REAR BD at the "AUTO" position. 2) u-COM controls DAYNIGHT automatically. In the bright area, camera works in COLOR Mode, in the dark area, camera works in B/W Mode. E T Mode 1) Locate the SW401 of REAR BD at the "EXT" position. 2) If input signal of CN403 is HIGH, camera works in "DAY(COLOR) Mode", otherwise camera works in NIGHT(B/W) Mode. Samsung Electronics

- AUTO : u-COM reads the DSPdata, and controls the DAYNIGHT automatically.
- EXT : DAYNIGHT is selected by input signal of CN403.

- LOW : NIGHT(B/W) Mode

1)
u-COM(IC108) decides the status of SW401 and CN403, then ouputs the MA, MB, MSAV(IC108-41,42,43)
signal which controls the stepping motor.
These signal goes to IC306 of CCD BD.
2)
IC306 transfer and amplify the signal which are supplied by u-COM, and controls the DC Stepping motor to
change the optical filter.
AT
Mode
1)
Locate the SW401 of REAR BD at the "AUTO" position.
2)
u-COM controls DAYNIGHT automatically. In the bright area, camera works in COLOR Mode, in the dark
area, camera works in B/W Mode.
E T Mode
1)
Locate the SW401 of REAR BD at the "EXT" position.
2)
If input signal of CN403 is HIGH, camera works in "DAY(COLOR) Mode", otherwise camera works in
NIGHT(B/W) Mode.
