The CSD defines the data format, error correction type, maximum data access time, etc. The field structures of the CSD Register vary depending on the physical specifications and card capacity. The CSD_STRUCTURE field in the CSD Register indicates which structure version is used. Table 9 shows the version number as it relates to the CSD structure. Card Specific Data Register
The Card Specific Data (CSD) Register configuration information is required to
access card data.
The CSD defines the data format, error correction type, maximum
data access time, etc. The field structures of the CSD Register vary depending on the
physical specifications and card capacity. The CSD_STRUCTURE field in the CSD
Register indicates which structure version is used. Table 9 shows the version number
as it relates to the CSD structure. Refer to Section 5.3.1 of the SDA Physical Layer
Specification, Version 3.01 for more information.
