Replacing the Console Batteries The Console will display "Lbat" for ten seconds when the batteries are around 10% of their rated power during power up. When replacing the batteries, make sure the batteries point in the +/- direction shown in the battery bay. Note: The console uses AA size batteries (LR6). To remove and replace the batteries: 1. Remove the battery compartment cover. 2. Remove the old batteries and install the new batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc) batteries. 3. Replace the battery compartment cover. Be sure to remove the batteries if you are not going to use your machine for an extended period of time. 26

Replacing the Console Batteries

2.
Remove the old batteries and install the new batteries.

Replace the battery compartment cover.
Be sure to remove the batteries if you are not going to use your machine for an extended period of time.
