CALENDAR • Turn the crown to set the mode indicator to "CALENDAR". The hour and minute hands move to indicate the month you set previously. How to read the calendar The date is indicated by the numeral shown in the calendar frame, and the month is indicated by the hour marker that the hour and minute hands point to. The second hand indicates the number of years that have passed since the last leap year. Ex.) July 31st, 1992 (leap year) Leap year indication: L.Y. (leap year) Month: July Crown ( ) Normal position Date: 31st * The leap year comes once in four years. The leap year indication represents the number of years that have passed since the last leap year. See the table below.
