Loading paper in other trays Bypass tray LOADING PAPER IN A TRAY The side to be copied on must be face up! When loading 11" x 17", 8-1/2" x 14", 8-1/2" x 13", 8-1/2" x 11"R, A3, B4, or A4R size paper, pull out the tray extension. The maximum number of sheets that can be loaded in the bypass tray is approximately 100 for plain paper. Place paper that is 7-1/4" x 10-1/2" (A5) or smaller in the horizontal orientation. Special types of paper that cannot be loaded in other trays can be loaded in the bypass tray. For detailed information on the bypass tray, see "LOADING PAPER IN THE BYPASS TRAY" in "1.
