BMI Calculation Mode You can calculate your body-mass index (BMI), a guide to your health in terms of obesity, by entering your height and weight. 1. Tap the DIET once, twice, or three times to enter the Diet Function Mode. 2. Select "BMI" using k or m, and press ENTER . 3. Enter your body weight value in the WEIGHT field, and tap m. 4. Enter your height value in the HEIGHT field. 5. Press ENTER to display your BMI. (Rounded off to one decimal place.) Press ENTER to return to the Diet Function mode. Notes: • The units for weight and height are the same as those set in the MENU mode. • Weight and height can be entered to one decimal place. To correct values, tap C•CE . • Refer to other sources to evaluate the obtained BMI. • This unit calculates the BMI with the following formula: BMI = (Weight / Height 2) × 703 (for the English unit: pound & inch) 18

You can calculate your body-mass index (BMI), a guide to your
