To install and use the USB cable Uninstall any previously used mobile phone communication software, such as synchronization software, from your computer. 1 Computer: Install the Sony Ericsson PC Suite from the CD that comes with your phone. 2 Connect the USB cable to your phone and the computer. 3 Phone: In the pop-up } Phone mode to synchronize with the computer or to use your phone as a modem. } File transfer to transfer music, pictures and other files to your phone. Update service Keep your phone updated with the latest software. When a new software version is available, you can download and install it without affecting the user data in your phone. Choose one of the following methods to update your phone: • over the air via your phone or • online via the provided USB cable and an Internet-connected computer.
