Maintenance Information and Precautions Video Head Cleaning To ensure clear pictures, clean the video heads periodically. When playback pictures are "noisy" or hardly visible, the video heads may be contaminated. s• . After checking the picture, if it is still "noisy", repeat the cleaning. (Do not repeat cleaning more than 5 times.) Caution Do not use a commercially available wet-type cleaning cassette. It may damage the video heads. Note If the V8-25CLH cleaning cassette is not available in your area, consult your Sony service facility. Removing Dust from inside the Viewfinder (1) Pull out the viewfinder barrel until the illustrated mark appears. (2) Turn the viewfinder counterclockwise until it stops, and pull it out.
