Playing Back Messages on the Computer (continued) To play back a specific portion of a message (A-B Repeat) You can play back a specific portion (between user-specified A and B positions) of a message repeatedly. 1 Select the message you want to play back. 2 Click N (play) button to determine which portion on the slider corresponds to the portion you wan to play back repeatedly. 3 Click (repeat) button. The Repeat Play mode is selected. On the slider, A and B buttons are displayed. Saving Messages to the Computer Saving messages or folders You can save the messages of the "Memory Stick" onto your computer's hard disk as the following file types. • MSV (Memory Stick Voice) files • ICS (Sony IC Recorder) files • 8-bit/16-bit WAV files See page 50 for details on file types. If you want to save as MSV files, select message(s) or folder(s) in the main window, and drag and drop into the certain place in the hard disk drive. The file or folder names will be labeled automatically. To resume normal playback, press again. 4 Drag the A button to the point where you want to start playback. 5 Drag the B button to the point where you want to stop playback. 6 Click N (play) button. The portion of the message between the A and B points is played back repeatedly. To stop playback, click x (stop) button. To save as another files, see "Saving as other file types" on the next page. You can also save entire VOICE folder in a "Memory Stick" with information about alarm setting, priority marks, etc. in the hard disk (see page 50). 48

Saving Messages
to the Computer
Saving messages or
folders
You can save the messages of the “Memory
Stick“ onto your computer’s hard disk as the
following file types.
• MSV (Memory Stick Voice) files
• ICS (Sony IC Recorder) files
• 8-bit/16-bit WAV files
See page 50 for details on file types.
If you want to save as MSV files, select
message(s) or folder(s) in the main window,
and drag and drop into the certain place in
the hard disk drive. The file or folder names
