8-bit/16-bit WAV file (WAV FILE [8 bit/16-bit] file, extension. wav) The 8-bit or 16-bit WAV file is a PCM 8/ 11kHz, 8/16-bit monaural sound file used in recorded sound in standard Windows application software. You can play back the WAV file on Windows software such as the "Sound Recorder" supplied with Windows 98 or Windows 95. To use the application compatible with a 16-bit WAV file, save the message as a WAV (16-bit) file. You can convert a WAV file into an MSV file on the Memory Stick Voice Editor. (Only the PCM 8/11kHz, 8/16-bit monaural WAV file can be converted.
