Erasing messages one by one You can erase unwanted messages, retaining all other messages when the IC recorder is in the stop or playback mode. When a message is erased, the remaining messages will advance and be renumbered so that there will be no space between messages. 1 Select the message you want to erase. 2 Press and hold /MENU for more than one second to enter the menu mode. The menu mode window will be displayed. 3 Press the control key toward or to select "ERASE A FILE," and then press ENT. The message to be erased will be played back. 4 Press the control key toward or to select "EXECUTE," and then press ENT. "ERASING ..." appears in the display window and the selected message will be erased. 30GB Erasing all messages in a folder 1 Select the folder containing the messages you want to erase when the IC recorder is in the stop mode. 2 Press and hold /MENU for more than one second to enter the menu mode. The menu mode window will be displayed. 3 Press the control key toward or to select "ERASE ALL," and then press ENT. 4 Press the control key toward or to select "EXECUTE," and then press ENT. "ERASING ..." appears in the display window and all messages in the selected folder will be erased.
