If you have a non-Sony VCR, you must program the remote control. See "Programming the Remote Control" on page 60. For the cable box, press FUNCTION repeatedly until the SAT/CABLE indicator lights up. For the VCR, press FUNCTION repeatedly until the DVD/VCR indicator lights up. See "Operating a Cable Box" on page 64 and "Operating a VCR or D-VHS" on page 63.
