Attaching the speaker pads Attach the supplied speaker pads to the bottom of the front speakers and subwoofer to prevent them from slipping. Inserting batteries Insert an R6 (size AA) battery (supplied), matching the polarity shown below. When carrying this system Make sure that there is no disc loaded and no USB device or no iPod/iPhone is connected, and remove the power cord from the wall outlet. Notes on using the remote control  With normal use, the battery should last for about six months.  If you do not use the remote control for a long period of time, remove the battery to avoid damage from battery leakage and corrosion.
