Getting Started You can operate the player on either a rechargeable battery or a dry battery. Before using the supplied rechargeable battery for the first time, charge it. You can also operate the player on house current (see "Power sources"). Dcharge the rechargeable battery. Install the supplied rechargeable bakery NC-6WM to the supplied battery charger with correct polarity, and connect to a wall outlet. Full charging takes 150 minutes. NC-6WM (supplied) Ard•Walli Insert a rechargeable battery. 0 Slide open the battery compartment lid like the arrow in the illustration. ® Insert the battery with correct polarity. O Playing an MD The player automatically switches to play the stereo or monaural sound according to the recorded sound. Play an MD. ® Press IP,- (turn the control to 10-•0404 on the remote control). The player starts to play the first track. If you use the remote control, a short beep sounds in the headphones. VOLUME +/ VOL +/• 0 Press VOLUME +/- (VOL +/- on the remote control) to adjust the volume. You can check the volume in the display of the remote control. 0 Connect the headphones to the remote control. Connect it firmly all the way. 0 Connect the headphones wit remote control t Q/REMOTE. To stop play, press II. If you use the remote control, a short beep sounds in the headphones. Insert an MD. size AA (LR6) alkaline battery (not supplied) 0 Insert an MD with the label facina un and oress the lid To Press (Beeps in the headphones) Pause II on the remote control (Continuous short beeps) Press II again to resume play.
