Presetting Active Channels This VCR is capable of receiving VHF/UHF channels 2 to 69 and CATV channels 1 to 125. You can preset all receivable channels automatically by automatic presetting so that they appear in numerical sequence when you press CHANNEL +l-. If there are unwanted channels, you can erase them manually or if you know the channel numbers to be preset, you can preset them manually so that only the desired channels appear when you press CHANNEL +l-. To Preset All Receivable Channels Automatically Before Presetting Channels •Turn on the VCR and the TV. •If your TV is not equipped with video/audio input jacks, set the TV to the correct channel (3 or 4) for the VCR and press ANT TVNTR to display the VTR indicator. •If your TV is equipped with video/audio input jacks, select the video input on the TV. •The on-screen display does not appear unless the TV is connected to MONITOR OUT on this VCR. •Press INPUT SELECT so that the TUNER indicator and the channel number appear in the display window. Use ♦ and ♦ to move cursor. Use ► and 4 to move dot. 1 Press MENU. The main MENU appears. Before
Presetting
Channels
•Turn
on
the
VCR
and
the
TV.
•If
your
TV
is
not
equipped
with
video/audio
input
jacks,
set
the
TV
to
the
correct
channel
(3
or
4)
for
the
VCR
and
press
ANT
TVNTR
to
display
the
VTR
indicator.
•If
your
TV
is
equipped
with
video/audio
input
jacks,
select
the
video
input
on
the
TV.
•The
on
-screen
display
does
not
appear
unless
the
TV
is
connected
to
MONITOR
OUT
on
this
VCR.
•Press
INPUT
SELECT
so
that
the
TUNER
indicator
and
the
channel
number
appear
in
the
display
window.
