Address Set VISCA is a protocol, which supports a daisy chain of up to seven connected cameras via RS-232 interface. In such cases, the address set command can be used to assign addresses from 1 to 7 to each of the seven cameras, allowing you to control the seven cameras with the same personal computer. Be sure to use the address set command to set the address whenever a camera is connected for the first time. Memory (Preset) Using the preset function, 16 sets of camera shooting conditions can be stored and recalled. This function allows you to achieve the desired status instantly, even without adjusting the following items each time. • Pan/Tilt Position • Zoom Position • Digital Zoom On/Off • Focus Auto/Manual • Focus Position • AE Mode • Shutter control parameters • Bright Control • Iris control parameters • Gain control parameters • Exposure Compensation On/Off • Exposure Level • Backlight Compensation On/Off • Auto Slow Shutter On/Off • White Balance Mode • R/B Gain • Aperture Control • WD Parameter • Defog On/Off The settings stored using this function are recalled when the power is turned on. For setting items, see the "Initial Settings, Custom Preset and Backup" section on page 16. Note Rewriting of memory is not unlimited. Be careful to avoid using the memory area for such as unnecessary tasks as rewriting the contents of the memory for every operation. Basic Functions 15
