n 53 N Using Your VAIO Computer Connecting with a cable or satellite set-top box (STB) You can connect your computer to cable service access that uses a set-top box (cable or satellite). When using the set-top box (STB) setup, you can only change channels through the STB, using its controls or the supplied remote commander. When using the STB setup: ❑ A standard TV remote control cannot be used to change TV channels. You can use your TV remote control to set the TV to the channel-out number (channel 3, 4, etc.) or direct video input specified by your cable or satellite service provider. ❑ You may be able to use a universal remote control or commander to change TV channels, if the device is capable of controlling the STB.

You can connect your computer to cable service access that uses a set-top box (cable or satellite). When using the set-top
