English g if the engine is cold e for warm start - also use this posi- tion if the engine has been running but is still cold. N Press the manual fuel pump bulb (9) at least five times - even if the bulb is filled with fuel. Cranking N Retract the wheels, if fitted. 469BA061 AS obstacles - see also "Starting / Stopping the Engine" in the MultiTool instruction manual. N Make sure you have secure footing - as shown. To reduce the risk of injury from contact with rotating attachments, always stand to the side of the power tool. N With your left hand on the carrying handle, press the unit firmly against the ground. NOTICE Do not stand or kneel on the drive tube. NOTICE Do not pull out the starter rope all the way - it might otherwise break. Version with Easy2Start N Pull the starter grip slowly until you feel it engage and then pull it out slowly and steadily. NOTICE Do not pull out the starter rope all the way - it might otherwise break. Both versions N Do not let the starter grip snap back. Guide it slowly back into the housing so that the starter rope can rewind properly. N Continue cranking. When engine begins to fire 469BA062 AS 8 469BA034 KN N Put the unit on the ground: It must rest securely on the engine flange and the support on the frame. Check that the MultiTool is not touching the ground or any other 469BA063 AS N Hold the starter grip with your right hand. Version without Easy2Start N Pull the starter grip slowly until you feel it engage and then give it a brisk strong pull. N After no more than five pulls, move the choke lever (8) to e. N continue cranking. As soon as the engine runs N Blip the throttle trigger - the engine settles down to idle speed. Your machine is now ready for operation. 14 MM 55, MM 55 C
