Such paragraphs are marked with the symbols and signal words described below: DANGER Indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury. Important Safety Instructions READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS WARNING When using electric lawn mowers, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury, including the following: 1. Avoid Dangerous Environments - Do not use lawn mowers in damp or wet locations. 2. Do Not Use In Rain. 3. Keep Children and Bystanders Away - All bystanders should be kept a safe distance from work area. 4. Dress Properly - Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts. Substantial footwear is recommended. Never wear sandals, tennis shoes, flip flops or similar footwear or go barefoot. Wear heavy-duty work gloves (e.g. made of leather or other wearresistant material) when transporting the mower or carrying out work on the mower blade. 5. Use Protective Glasses - Always use an approved face or dust mask if operation is dusty. 6. Use the Right Appliance - Do not use the lawn mower for any job except that for which it is intended. 2 RMA 510
