English / USA Definitions 1. Rear handle Carrying handle for the right hand. 2. Air filter Prevents dust and impurities from entering the carburetor. 3. Wing nut on filter cover For removing the filter cover in order to clean the filter. 4. Throttle trigger interlock Must be pressed in order to activate the throttle trigger. 5. Throttle trigger Controls the engine speed. 6. Choke lever Enriches the fuel mixture and makes the engine start more easily. 7. Slide control For starting, normal operation and stopping. Keeps the choke partly open when starting and switches off the ignition in order to stop the engine. 8. Spark plug terminal Connects the spark plug to the ignition lead. 9. Front handle Handle for the left hand at the front of the cut-off machine. 10. Guard for the abrasive wheel Protects the abrasive wheel and deflects sparks. 11. Front thrust plate Distributes the clamping pressure of the retaining nut uniformly over the abrasive wheel. 12. Abrasive wheel May be either a composite wheel or a diamond wheel. 13. Decompression valve Makes starting easier. 14. Adjusting lever For adjusting the guard so that sparks are deflected to the front. 15.
