About managed network segments Managed network segments include each unique subnet in which the network devices and interfaces reside. The Network Security console automatically creates an object in the topology tree to represent each such managed network segment in your network. Each time you add a new interface object, Symantec Network Security adds a new object for the network segment in which the interface resides, if not already represented. SuperUsers can edit the default name (Untitled) and the description.
