66 Protection Policies Viewing protection policies Viewing protection policies Symantec Network Security provides a set of pre-defined protection policies that include attack policies, audit policies, and prevention policies. They can be immediately activated by setting them to interfaces and applying them. You can also define your own policies and activate them using the same procedures. On the Protection Policies tab, you can view all available protection policies in the left pane, and the node interfaces that they are applied to, in the right pane. Symantec Network Security provides a set of pre-defined protection policies

immediately activated by setting them to interfaces and applying them. You can
also define your own policies and activate them using the same procedures.
On the Protection Policies tab, you can view all available protection policies in
the left pane, and the node interfaces that they are applied to, in the right pane.
