Basic operation 1 Minimize the volume. Use the VOLUME knob or the remote control VOLUME buttons to minimize the volume. ooIf digital audio signals input through OPT1, OPT2 or COAX inputs are in a format other than PCM (e.g. Dolby Digital, DTS, AAC), the input indicator will EN blink. Since this unit only supports the input of PCM format signals, confirm that the digital output of the connected equipment is in PCM format. Some devices convert signals into PCM format before output. See the operation manuals for the connected devices. ooBefore connecting a computer and selecting USB, install the dedicated driver on the computer (see p. 14). Playback from a computer that does not have this driver installed is not possible. −∞ dB: Minimum volume 0 dB: Maximum volume 2 Set the POWER switch to ON. 4 Operate the playback device. Refer to the operation manual of that device. 5 Adjust the volume. 3 Turn the INPUT SELECTOR knob to select the input source. −∞ dB: Minimum volume 0 dB: Maximum volume Start playback on the source and use the VOLUME knob or remote control VOLUME buttons to adjust the volume to its optimal level.
