After completing all other connections, insert the power plug into a power outlet. Unplug the cord from the outlet when not using the unit for a long time. V U se only the included power cord. Use of a differ- ent cord could cause fire or electric shock. C USB input port (USB) Use this to input digital audio from a computer. Connect it to the computer's USB port, using a commercially available USB (TYPE B) cable. CAUTION Install the dedicated driver on the computer before connecting. If you connect this unit to a computer that does not have the driver installed, the operation of the computer could be impaired, including, for example, causing it to operate more slowly (see p. 14). V Do not turn the power on until after making all connections. ooCarefully read the manuals of the devices that you are connecting and follow their instructions when making connections. ooDo not bundle connecting cables with power cords.
