ENGLISH Setting the Recoding Mode You can set the bit rate, speed and number of tracks (one or all) when Bit rate recording. You can set the bit rate of MP3 files for recording. 1 Press the CD/USB button repeatedly to select "CD". CD/Stop REC SET: MP3 64K Each time the Skip/search button (,/) pressed, the bit rate is changed as follows: 64k 96k 128k 192k 2 Hold down the RECORD button more than 3 seconds. Recording speed You can set the recording speed to ×1 or ×2. CD/Stop REC SET: CD X1 3 c CD/Stop REC SET: CD X2 "REC SET: MP3 XXK" appears on the display. < If no disc has been loaded, ("No disc" on the display), the display will not change and you will not be able to proceed with the next step. Each time the RECORD button is pressed, the mode is changed as follows: Bit rate (64k, 96k, 128k, 192k) Recording Speed (x1, x2) Each time the Skip/search button (,/) pressed the recording speed is alternated between ×1 and ×2. Number of songs to be recorded You can set the number of songs to be recorded. CD/Stop REC SET: 1 song 3 c Number of recorded songs (1song, CD ALL) < If you need to change a setting that you have already passed, return to the ordinary display and repeat these procedures from step 2 . CD/Stop REC SET: CD ALL Each time the Skip/search button (,/) is pressed the number of songs to be recorded is alternated between "1 song" and "CD ALL". 25
