Identifying the Parts (Main Unit) ENGLISH A B C D E F G J H IJ Top A Standby/On (¤) Press this button to turn the unit on and put it into standby. ECO POWER mode To save energy, the unit turns to the ECO POWER mode in the following cases: < If no iPod or iPhone is inserted in the dock, and three minutes have passed since power has been set to standby < If no iPod or iPhone is inserted in the dock and no operation has been conducted for 18 minutes when the power is ON and the source is set to "iPod" or "USB" < If no iPod or iPhone is inserted in the dock, pressing the Standby/On (¤) button for more than 3 seconds when the power is in standby When the unit is in ECO POWER mode, ECO POWER indicator lights and nothing appears on the display. In ECO POWER mode, press the Standby/On (¤) button to turn the unit on. B Play/Pause (y/9) When the source is "iPod" or "USB", press this button to start or pause playback. C Stop (8) When the source is "USB", press this button to stop playback. D FUNCTION Press this button to select a source. E VOLUME ( - / + ) Press these buttons to adjust the volume level. F iPod/iPhone dock Insert an iPod/iPhone into this dock. To prevent dust from accumulating on the dock connector, set the supplied dock cover when it is not being used. G Display Displays the clock, current source, etc. H Remote sensor When operating the remote control unit, point it towards here. I ECO POWER indicator Lights when the unit is in ECO POWER mode.
