terms

warranty

defined

as

than

rental

which

are

not

"household

use."

solid

steel

drive

shafts

utilized

in

Tanaka

products,

including

split

boom

attachments

for

SmartFitR

models,

retailed

after

January

I,

2005

are

warranted

for

life.

Hitachi

Koki

U.S.A.,

will

replace,

at

no

charge,

any

failed

solid

steel

drive

shalt

free

of

charge

for

those

models.

If

Hitachi

Koki

U.S.A.,

Ltd.

determines

that

the

failure

of

a

solid

steel

drive

shaft

effectively

damaged

other

components,

those

components

will

he

covered

under

the

terms

of

the

warranty

and

will

be

replaced

free

of

charge.

No

labor

expenses

will

be

covered

for

drive

shaft

replacement,

or

subsequent

replacement

of

related

parts,

after

the

expiration

of

the

products

original

warranty

coverage

period.

systems

for

a

period

of

ve

years.

All

accessories,

attachments,

and

spare

parts

will

carry

a

90

day

part

replacement

warranty.

This

warranty

is

limited

to

repair

Koki

U.S.A.,

Ltd.

or

at

the

premises

of

Tanaka

Power

Equipment

Authorized

Service

Dealers,

of

such

parts

as

appear

to

Hitachi

Koki

U.S.A.,

Ltd.,

upon

inspection,

to

be

defective

in

material

and/or

workmanship.

The

above

warranties

are

extended

to

the

first

end

user,

and

no

warranty

is

made

nor

authorized

to

be

made

assignable

on

resale

by

the

fi

rst

end

user.

makes

no

warranty

with

respect

to

trade

accessories

not

manufactured

by

Hitachi

Koki

U.S.A.,

Ltd.

or

sold

by

it.

Such

trade

accessories

are

subject

to

the

warranty

policy

of

their

respective

manufacturers.

reserves

the

right

to

inspect

the

claimed

defective

part(s)

to

determine

if

the

malfunction

is

the

result

of

a

defect

covered

by

this

warranty.

This

warranty

will

cover

only

defects

arising

under

normal

usage,

and

shall

not

apply,

nor

will

Hitachi

Koki

U.S.A.,

Ltd.

assume

any

responsibility,

if

the

failure

was

caused

by

the

following:
