71 Setting up your TV Adjusting the audio DTS TruSurround™ This technology delivers an immersive virtual surround sound experience over front facing speaker configurations, complete with rich bass, high frequency detail and clear dialog. To turn on DTS TruSurroundTM: 1 Press the MENU button and open the Sound menu. 2 Highlight DTS TruSurround field, and then press the ENTER button. 3 Press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to select On, and then press the ENTER button Sound Mode Select the Sound Mode your prefer. To select a Sound Mode: 1 Press the MENU button and open the Sound menu. 2 Highlight Sound Mode field, and then press the ENTER button. 3 Press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to select one of Sound Mode , and then press the ENTER button. Stable SoundTM The Stable SoundTM feature limits high volume levels and prevents the extreme changes in volume that can occur when channels are changed or a program switches to a commercial. To turn on Stable SoundTM: 1 Press the MENU button and open the Sound menu. 2 Highlight Stable Sound, and then press the ENTER button. 3 Press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to select On. Using the Dolby® Digital Dynamic Range Control feature You can further compress Dolby® Digital dynamic range, allowing you to switch from digital to analog broadcasts at the same dynamic range. To use the Dolby® Digital Dynamic Range Control: 1 Press the MENU button and open the Sound menu. 2 Highlight Dynamic Range Control, and then press the ENTER button. 3 Press the ▲/▼(arrow) buttons to select On, and then press the ENTER button.
