90 SettingupyourTV Using the HDMI® settings feature Item: Amplifier Control Description: If Amplifier Control is set to On, you can adjust the sound volume or turn off the sound using the remote control. Initial Speaker Setting From this item, you can set your audio output preference to the TV speakers or the audio receiver speakers. When this item is set to Receiver, the TV remote can be used to adjust or mute the volume of the audio. This item will be grayed out when Amplifier Control is set to Off. When you turn on the Audio Receiver, change its input source or adjust the sound volume, the sound will be output from the audio receiver's speakers even if TV Speakers has been selected. Turn the TV off and on again to output the sound from the TV speakers. Setting up HDMI® CEC To set the HDMI® CEC Setup: 1 From the Options menu, highlight HDMI CEC Control Setup and press the ENTER button. 2 Highlight Enable HDMI CEC Control, and then press the ENTER button. 3 Select On, and then press the ENTER button. Using the HDMI® settings feature

Amplifier Control
If Amplifier Control is set to On, you can adjust the sound volume or turn
off the sound using the remote control.
Initial Speaker Setting
From this item, you can set your audio output preference to the TV
speakers or the audio receiver speakers. When this item is set to
Receiver, the TV remote can be used to adjust or mute the volume of the
audio. This item will be grayed out when Amplifier Control is set to Off.
When you turn on the Audio Receiver, change its input source or
adjust the sound volume, the sound will be output from the audio
receiver’s speakers even if TV Speakers has been selected. Turn the
TV off and on again to output the sound from the TV speakers.
