Advanced playback (DVD) peat playback / Random playback You can play a specific title, chapter, track, or segment repeatedly. And also you can play titles, chapters within a title, or tracks in random order. PLAY Re* ~o Repeat playback and Random playback REPEAT A-B PLAY MODE CLEAR 1 Press PLAY MODE. Each time you press PLAY MODE, the TRK repeat mode changes as follows. O PLAY MODE Chapter Repeat Press PLAY. •PLAY PP. The unit starts repeat playback or random playback. Press PLAY within about 5 seconds after you press PLAY MODE. (Qm))13eqAeld peouenpv Chapter Repeat Repeats the current chapter. Title Repeat Repeats the current title. Track Repeat Repeats the current track. All Repeat Repeats the entire disc. Chapter Random Plays the chapters within the current title in random order. Title Random 1 Track Random 1 Off Plays the titles in random order. Plays the tracks in random order. Resumes normal playback. ■ To resume normal playback Press CANCEL. CANCEL O CLEAR Notes: • If you press the PLAY MODE button during playback, the unit automatically starts repeat playback and random playback after finishing the current title, chapter or track. • Some discs may not permit repeat operation. • You cannot use the random playback function in conjunction with the memory playback function. Repeating a specific segment CD 1 Press REPEAT A-B at the beginning of the segment (point A) you want to play repeatedly. ■ To resume normal playback Press CLEAR. CANCEL PROGRAM ACD REPEAT A-B 2 Press REPEAT A-B again at the end of the segment (point B). PROGRAM The DVD video player automatically returns to point A and starts repeat playback of the selected segment (A- O B). REPEAT A-8 O CLEAR Notes: • Some discs may not permit A-B repeat operation. • You cannot set the A-B repeat function for a segment that includes multiple camera angles 150. • You can specify a segment only within the current title or track (VIDEO CD). • There may be a slight difference between point A and the location where playback actually resumes depending on the disc. A-B
