ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS 2-2: CUT OFF 2-5: OSD POSITION 1. Place the set in Aging Test for more than 15 minutes. 2. Place the set in AV MODE without signal. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (01) on the remote control to select "CUT OFF". 5. Adjust the Screen Volume until a dim raster is obtained. 2-3: WHITE BALANCE 1. Receive the monoscope pattern from the Pattern Generator. 2. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 3. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (00) on the remote control to select "OSD H". 4. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control until the difference of A and B becomes minimum. (Refer to Fig. 2-3) NOTE: Adjust after performing CUT OFF adjustment. 1. Place the set in Aging Test for more than 15 minutes. 2. Receive the gray scale pattern from the Pattern Generator. 3. Using the remote control, set the brightness and contrast to normal position. 4. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (24) on the remote control to select "R.BIAS". 5. Press the CH. UP/DOWN button on the remote control to select the "R.BIAS", "G.BIAS", "B.BIAS", "R/G.DRV", "B/ R.DRV", "R.BIAS(C)", "G.BIAS(C)", "B.BIAS(C)", "R/ G.DRV(C)", "B/R.DRV(C)", "R.BIAS(W)", "G.BIAS(W)", "B.BIAS(W)", "R/G.DRV(W)" or "B/R.DRV(W)". 6. Adjust the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control to whiten the R.BIAS(C), G.BIAS(C), B.BIAS(C), R/ G.DRV(C), B/R.DRV(C), R.BIAS(W), G.BIAS(W), B.BIAS(W), R/G.DRV(W) and B/R.DRV(W) at each step tone sections equally. 7. Perform the above adjustments 5 and 6 until the white color is achieved. 2-4: DOUBLE FOCUS 1. Receive the cross hatch signal from the Pattern Generator. 2. Turn the F1 VR and F2 VR fully clockwise once. (Refer to Fig. 2-2) 3. Adjust the F1 VR so that the screen becomes clearest. Then adjust the F2 VR. And, then press the LEFT/ RIGHT button on the remote control until the PICTURE menu appears. 3. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control to highlight DISPLAY FORMAT. 4. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button on the remote control to select 1080i. 5. Set the screen mode to FULL. 6. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (02) on the remote control to select "H.POSI". 7. Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right and left becomes becomes minimum. 8. Receive the monoscope pattern. 9. Activate the adjustment mode display of Fig. 1-1 and press the channel button (04) on the remote control to select "H. SIZE". 10.Press the VOL. UP/DOWN button on the remote control until the SHIFT quantity of the OVER SCAN on right and left becomes 7.5%. SCREEN VR Fig. 2-2 D3-2
