20 Using the External DVD SuperMulti Drive When the OPEN button is pressed the drive will stop. If you want to continue using the disc lift the cover fully and then re-close it. Avoid touching the readable (plain) side(s) of a disc. Touching the readable side of the disc may cause read errors, poor performance or failed operation. Removing Discs 1 Turn on your computer. 2 Press the OPEN button to open the Disc cover and pull the Disc cover up fully. 3 To remove a disc, grasp it by the edges and gently pull up until the disc is removed. Avoid touching the readable (plain) side(s) of a disc. Touching the readable side of the disc may cause read errors, poor performance or failed operation. Do not press the OPEN button while the computer is accessing the disc. Wait for the indicator to change orange before you open the Disc cover. Also, if the disc is spinning when you open the Disc cover, wait for it to stop before you remove it. 4 Close the Disc cover.

Removing Discs

Turn on your computer.

Press the OPEN button to open the Disc cover and
pull the Disc cover up fully.
