104 Learning the Basics Using Turn Off or Shut down The properties window for the option you selected appears. If you selected the High Power option, the High Power Properties window appears. Sample High Power Properties window 6 Click the System Power Mode tab. 7 Select Power Off for the options you want. ❖ When I press the power button Set this option to Power Off if you want the computer to turn off when you press the power button. ❖ When I close the lid Set this option to Power Off if you want the computer to turn off when you close the display panel. 8 Click Override all Modes with settings here.
