195 Hot Keys Display modes Display modes Fn + This hot key cycles through the power-on display options. The display modes are: NOTE Some modes are only available with the appropriate device attached and turned on. ❖ LCD-Internal display only ❖ LCD + CRT-Internal display and external monitor simultaneously ❖ CRT-External monitor only ❖ LCD + CRT Multi Monitor-Internal display and external monitor, with one acting as the primary display and the other as an extended desktop ❖ Swap-Switch primary display between internal display and external monitor when using extended desktop (Sample Image) Display options window To use a simultaneous mode, you must set the resolution of the internal display panel to match the resolution of the external display device. Not all functions are supported on all models. Display brightness Fn + This hot key decreases the screen brightness. Fn + This hot key increases the screen brightness.
