Avoid Dangerous Environments: • This blower is intended for indoor or outdoor use. Do not operate blower in rain or in damp or wet locations. • Do not handle electric plug or blower with wet hands. • Do not operate blower if it is damaged or not securely and fully assembled. 2. Do not allow blower to be used as a toy. Pay close attention when using blower near children. 3. Do not use blower for any job except that for which it is intended. Use only as described in this manual. Use only attachments included with this blower. 4. Always wear eye protection that meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI Z87.1. 5. Wear long pants and shoes when operating this blower. 6. Provide Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection on the circuit or outlet to be used for blower. You may use receptacles with built-in GFCI protection for this safety measure. WHILE OPERATING BLOWER 1. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. 2. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts. 3. Never operate this blower with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices in place. 4. Do not abuse power cord. Never pull or carry blower by power cord. Never yank cord to disconnect from receptacle. To unplug, grasp plug, not the cord. Do not close a door on the cord. Keep power cord from heat, oil, and sharp edges. 5. Use extra care when using blower on stairs. 6. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked. Keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow. 7. Disconnect blower properly. Turn off all controls before disconnecting blower from power supply. 8.
