DCHP is the most common connection. Your router will automatically assign an IP address to your Uniden Guardian system. Static IP is for those that have the ability to specify an IP address for the Uniden Guardian system. Security Code Set up your security code to limit who can have access to the system from a remote location. 1. Tap Security Code to display the Security Code screen. 2. If you have not entered a security code, you can enter it here. If you have previously entered a security code, your current security code displays. The default security code is set to 123456. We recommend that you change this code to something you will remember. You will need the code to access your video from a remote device such as a smart phone or PC. 3. Tap on the Change Code field.
