3 Using the Media Center This chapter provides information about using the Media Center after installation is complete. See the Media Center Main Menu section for information about using Media Center's integrated media playing and recording features such as PVR (Personal Video Recorder) and DVD Player. Media Center Power Modes On/Off Power Button & LED Indicator (ring around Power On/Off button) Blue = On Amber = Standby mode Turning the Media Center On 1 Press the Power On/Off button on the front of the Media Center. The LED indicator (ring around Power button) glows Blue when the Media Center is On; and glows Amber when in Standby mode. 2 Wait for Windows to boot up and the Windows desktop to appear. To access the Media Center Main Menu, press the green Media Center button on the Remote Control.
