Troubleshooting

Page 13 highlights

Round basket resting supports and rectangular basket support are removable and dishwasher safe. Overflow drain is removable and dishwasher safe. (Fig. 9) If any food or debris gets lodged into the drain at the bottom of the basin, it is removable for Fig. 9 cleaning. You must use a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove. (Fig. 10) Fig. 10 TROUBLESHOOTING If the pasta cooker does not work, please check the following: ISSUE Pasta cooker is not working CAUSE Power supply SOLUTION Check power source Power switch has not been turned on Plug/cord damaged Internal wiring fault Food debris stuck on or between heating element Thermostat dial has not been set Check that the unit is correctly plugged in and turned on Call for service Call for service Power off boiler, let the unit cool and then clean on or around elements, removing the food debris Set the thermostat dial to the desired temperature setting Water is not heating up and indicator light is ON Thermal protector has been activated Power off pasta cooker, let unit cool. Clean on and around elements, removing the food debris. See instructions on page 10 for reset button Thermostat or heating Call for service element has failed Indicator light Faulty indicator light is off, but pasta cooker is operating normally Call for service 13
