TROUBLESHOOTING & MAINTENANCE Troubleshooting Problem Burners burn with a yellow or orange flame,in conjunctionwith the smell of gas. Check Inspect Weber Spider Stopper Guards for possibleobstructions. (Blockage of holes.) Cure Clean Weber Spider Stopper Guards, See Section "Annual Maintenance". Burner does not light, or flame is low in HIGH position. Experiencing flare-ups: Is fuel hose bent or kinked? Straighten fuel hose. Does the Front burner light with a match? If you can light the Front burner with a match, then check the Crossover Ignition System.
